Is there a way to coordinate room sharing and/or carpooling to the conference?

Early Bird registration opens for SCBWI members on February 8, 2023 at 9:00 AM. CLICK HERE to register.

What meals are included with the conference?
Friday:
• Complimentary breakfast for attendees staying at the hotel
• Lunch for all Intensive attendees
Friday Night:
• Elixir Mixer – cash bar available
• Dinner on your own
Saturday:
• Complimentary breakfast for attendees staying at the hotel
• Lunch for all Full Conference and Saturday/Sunday Attendees
• Cocktail Costume Party (for Full Conference and Saturday only attendees only)
Sunday:
• Complimentary breakfast for attendees staying at the hotel

I want to help at the conference! How do I sign up to volunteer?
We often need volunteers to pick up speakers at the airport, sell pins at the conference, help at the registration desk, and more. If you are interested in any of these volunteer opportunities, please fill out this volunteer form. You must be registered for the conference in order to volunteer.
Will there be a bookstore?
We are currently working hard to have a bookstore where faculty and conference attendees can sell their books.

What should I wear?
Dress as you wish, but most conference attendees dress casually or in business casual attire. Since we cannot control the temperature in the conference rooms, dress in layers or bring a sweater or jacket. For Saturday night’s Costume Cocktail Party, we invite you to dress in your Catch-A-Wave best. Costumes are not required, however.
