2023 Self-Publishing Consulations

Self-Publishing Consultations

Do you have a manuscript that you are considering self-publishing but are unsure where to start? Do you have questions about the self-publishing process? Then sign up for a self-publishing consultation with Robert Herrick. During your self-publishing consultation, Robert will provide written feedback on your picture book or novel (up to 10 pages), discuss next steps, and answer your questions about the self-publishing process.

Conference attendees may register for an in-person 15-minute self-publishing consultation to receive a manuscript critique, advice, and strategies for self-publishing their book.

Robert Herrick worked for 20 years as a software developer. He helped create over fifty commercially released games and educational titles: including the best-selling Cabela’s Big Game Hunter series. Since leaving the game industry, he has self-published two picture books, one grammar book, and three books that help authors on their self-publishing journey. He is an award-winning screenwriter and producer. Robert has been an SCBWI member since 2004. You can find out more about him at Robert lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with his wife, pet snail, and lots of crested and gargoyle geckos.
